Ce rapport traite de la nécessité d'améliorer la compétence et la motivation des personnels de santé en poste dans les systèmes de santé de district par le biais de la formation. Notant que le personnel constitue la composante la plus précieuse et la plus coûteuse des services de santé, le rapport préconise l'utilisation d'un programme systématique de formation continue, destiné à favoriser le fonctionnement des systèmes de santé de district et de nature à aider les personnels à tous les niveaux à améliorer leur travail et à préserver une réelle satisfaction professionnelle. L'accent est mis sur l'importance d'une formation en cours d'emploi pour les besoins réels de la communauté. Tout au long du rapport, de brèves études de cas illustrent la façon dont différents pays ont intégré la formation continue à l'administration sanitaire de district. |
