Ce rapport vise à attirer l'attention des agents des services publics et des éducateurs sur l'évolution des schémas nosologiques et des progrès techniques qui appellent des changements fondamentaux dans la formation des personnels de santé bucco-dentaire. Suivant une approche axée sur l'avenir, il s'appuie sur la Banque mondiale OMS de données sur la santé bucco-dentaire pour donner des informations sur l'évolution des maladies bucco-dentaires dans le monde entier et annoncer un certain nombre de changements spectaculaires dans les travaux cliniques des dentistes et l'objet des soins dentaires courants. L'accent est mis sur le besoin urgent de modifier en profondeur l'organisation des services de santé bucco-dentaire, le processus d'enseignement et le contenu des cours. |
