Dans ce rapport sont évoquées les conséquences pour les personnels infirmiers des changements qui sont intervenus dans le concept des soins de santé primaires et le besoin indispensable de dispenser aux diverses catégories de personnel infirmier une formation appropriée basée sur les soins de santé primaires. Le rapport fournit l'exemple de deux pays (Sénégal et Thaïlande) qui s'efforcent de promouvoir, au sein de leur personnel infirmier, l'objectif de la santé pour tous par le biais des soins de santé primaires et montre comment ces pays ont introduit le concept des soins de santé primaires dans l'enseignement et la formation des personnels infirmiers. Les autres sujets abordés par le rapport évoquent notamment les facteurs régissant la réorientation de l'enseignement infirmier supérieur, les domaines où doit s'appliquer la réforme et les facteurs influençant le processus des réformes. |
