The final part of the book assembles a number of statements, policy guidelines, and consensus reports issued by both the World Health Organization and the Pan American Health Organization. Of particular importance are statements concerning criteria for HIV screening programmes, an assessment of the neuropsychiatric consequences of HIV infection, and guidelines for dealing with the difficult issues surrounding AIDS in the workplace.
